Hello-
I have a Windows 2003 server that is serving up Microsoft Sharepoint. The server has two nics in it and each is connected to a different network/router.
The two routers ip’s are:
Router #1 – 192.168.0.1
Router #2- 192.168.1.1
NIC #1
IP address: 192.168.0.203
Sub: 255.255.255.0
D.G: 192.168.0.1
DNS: 192.168.0.201
NIC #2
IP address: 192.168.1.203
Sub: 255.255.255.0
D.G.: No gateway entered
DNS: 192.168.0.201
Traffic comes is supposed to come in from the internet on Router #2 and then get forwarded to the SharePoint server. But no one is able to connect to the SharePoint server. It has worked for weeks on end and then it just stopped. I was thinking that I need to setup static routes using the “route” command but am unsure how to accomplish this. What static routes would I setup exactly. Or does anyone else have a better solution….
Any help would be much appreicated.
I do agree to not make any drastic changes to the config. Do you have any ideas as to why this might be happening?
Thanks
